AcctTwo celebrates customer and partner community at Astros - Athletics Game
Well, our September 9th Astros event is in the books and we wanted to share a quick recap. The Astros absolutely destroyed the Oakland A's 15-0! It was a great win and, aside from the near constant sound of the crack of home runs, it made it easy to have a lot of great conversations - no one was that focused on what was happening on the field. In fact, there were a fair number of people glued to the tv screens to watch the Texans-Saints game, a real nail-biter, even if it was a disappointment.
We had about 125 attendees, great food and drink, and we very much appreciate all of our customers who attended, our expanding community of partners in the Houston area, as well as some exciting businesses whose growth we hope we can support in the near future.
The event started off in the Champion's Pavilion ballroom at Minute Maid Park with a quick welcome from our CEO, Marcus Wagner, and then we were off and running. After some food and drink, we made our way across the concourse to the Torchy's Tacos Deck for a great view of the game.
Many thanks to our friends at Sage Intacct for making the trip from near and far to join us. We also want to thank our employees for all their effort in making the event a lot of fun and a huge success. We hope to see everyone next year!
Go 'Stros and we can wait to see what happens in the postseason!
