Flexible Project Billing: Professional, Field Service and Construction Billing Automation

AcctTwo Flexible Project Billing Supports the Combination of Standard and Overtime Labor Rates, Materials, and Other Billable Expenses

Flexible Project Billing LogoHouston, TX - AcctTwo has launched a new Sage Intacct customization to automate the most complex, multi-line, project billing. AcctTwo Flexible Project Billing automation enables extensive pricing and invoicing flexibility, including any combination of standard and overtime labor rates, materials, and other billable expenses with a pricing template you set up once and apply to multiple projects in Sage Intacct.

New call-to-actionDesigned specifically to automate complicated T&M billing for Professional Services, Field Services, and Construction Industry accounting teams, the AcctTwo Flexible Project Billing facilitates the most elaborate billing needs by automating the creation or import of a Project Price List one time so it can be applied to multiple projects, saving users time and ensuring consistency.

“We saw billing cycles taking more than 10 days in some cases. Users weren't able to bill the way they need to for their business, which usually results in a manual process. Our clients were creating multi-line price lists manually with every new project they set up in Sage Intacct. With AcctTwo Flexible Project Billing, users have to create that price list just once and can apply it to as many projects as they need. And when it comes time to do their billing, it's much easier and quicker for them to review invoices and complete their complex project billing,” said Brett Michalson, AcctTwo CTO.

For those companies that have pricing models that intermingle labor, materials, with and without markup, AcctTwo Flexible Project Billing can manage any combination of UOMs (including by day, by shift, and by hour), consumables, and AP expenses. Users select or create a UOM for time measurement and configure straight time and overtime rates,  define a “shift” or hours per “day,” and specify special rates by employee. The module allows users to configure a retainage percentage as the project progresses.
